Relay for Life

For the past several years, the Elk Grove Jaycees have participated in Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society and helps fund cancer research and programs that help people who have cancer. Relay for Life this year will be Friday, June 12 at 6 pm at Elk Grove High School, 500 W. Elk Grove Blvd. We've all known somebody who has been affected by cancer, and supporting this event would be a great way to pay tribute to them. The ACS asks that participants raise $100 for the event, although they will gladly accept any money that you raise. Relay for Life is an all-night event that will end at 6 am on Saturday, June 13, but if are unable to stay all night, that is fine. Come for the evening or stay all night.
