The Elk Grove Village Jaycees invite you to our Karoake Social at Pope's Pizza and Pub, 66 E. Devon Ave. in Elk Grove Village at 8 pm on Friday, July 24. Come on out and sing your best song, or just hang out and enjoy the entertainment with Jaycee friends. We hope to see you there and as always, guests are welcome!

For the past several years, the Elk Grove Jaycees have participated in Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society and helps fund cancer research and programs that help people who have cancer. Relay for Life this year will be Friday, June 12 at 6 pm at Elk Grove High School, 500 W. Elk Grove Blvd. We've all known somebody who has been affected by cancer, and supporting this event would be a great way to pay tribute to them. If you would like to participate and join the Elk Grove Jaycee team online, click on the following link: http://main.acsevent s.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLFY09IL/900062170?pg=team&fr_id=14985&team_id=398948 The ACS asks that participants raise $100 for the event, although they will gladly accept any money that you raise. Relay for Life is an all-night event that will end at 6 am on Saturday, June 13, but if are unable to stay all night, that is fine. Come for the evening or stay all night. If you are unable to attend the event that evening, you can make a donation to our team by clicking on the link above.

On Friday, May 8, from 7-9 pm, the Elk Grove Village Jaycees will be hosting the 2009 Best Pizza of Elk Grove Contest at the Holiday Inn, 1000 Busse Rd, (just south of Landmeier) in Elk Grove Village. For $5, you will be able to have all the pizza that you can eat, plus one drink ticket. Many of the pizza restaurants in the village will be providing pizza, and you will be able to vote on which one you like the best in several categories. The Jaycees will also need help running the event, serving pizza, working the raffle, passing out questionaires, ect., so we encourage anyone interested to help us out. Set up will start at 6 pm. It's a great way to see what the Jaycees do within the community. Bring your family and friends, and your appetite, and join us for this fun event. We hope to see you there!

The Elk Grove Jaycees will be hosting their 49th annual Easter Egg Hunt. Set up will begin at 10:30 am. Registration will be at noon. The Easter Bunny will come at 12:30, and the egg hunt starts at 1. There will be seperate egg hunts for different age groups, up to 8 years old. We need help setting up and running the project, so we welcome you to help us out and see what great community service the Elk Grove Village Jaycees give back to the community.

Venue is strictly 21 & older after 9:00pm
Dress Code: The following clothing and accessories are not allowed at Gameworks: Excessive baggy clothing, torn or soiled clothing, clothing or tattoos with profanity or objectionable art, chains of any kind, loitering is not permitted on the premises. Other local attractions include: Woodfield Mall, AMC Loews Movie Theater, Comedy Club, Restaurants and Night Clubs.
