The North Region Jaycees are holding the election for the 2009 Board this Friday 11/7 at 7pm. Your attendance is requested. The election will be held at Desplaines Office Supply located at 1020 Bonoventure Dr in Elk Grove Village. Nominations are still open and we are still looking for candidates. We will be hosting a region social immediately following at Coach's Corner located at 152 Biesterfield Rd in Elk Grove Village. If you are inviting guests or prospectives, we should be arriving no later

Have you wanted to learn how to use a Jaycee Project Business Plan? It
is great to use for running a project of any size or as a guide to do
a business plan for your own personal venture. This training will review how to develop goals, resource planning,
budget, schedules and contingency planning. Debbie will have snacks on

The arrival of fall means that it’s time for our annual Corn Maze Social, which will be Saturday, October 18 at noon at Richardson’s Corn Maze, 9407 Richardson Road in Spring Grove, IL. At this event, we will be walking though the corn maze to see who can find their way to the finish the fastest. It is a lot of fun and we hope that you can join us. We will be hosting our largest fundraiser of the fall, the Home and Hearth Expo, on Sunday, October 12, from 1-5 pm at the gym in the Pavillion, which is located at Biesterfield Rd. and Wellington Ave. in Elk Grove Village At this event, home based businesses will be purchasing tables to promote and sell their items. We will need help setting up, taking down, and selling raffle tickets.

On Friday, October 3, the Elk Grove Jaycees, along with the Girl Scout Troops at Clearmont School, will be hosting a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It will be at 6 pm and will be held at Clearmont School, 280 Clearmont Drive, on the corner of Ridge Ave. in Elk Grove Village. We will be in the multi-purpose room at the back of the school. The dinner will be a $5 donation and will include spaghetti and one soft drink. We will need help working this project, so please come out. Invite your family and friends to come for dinner and support this great cause.
