Join us for great food and fun at our annual Chapter BBQ on Saturday, August 23rd at 2pm at Michelle and Tony house. A meat dish will be provided and we are asking members to bring side dishes, drinks, and desserts. There will be a sign up sheet at our next meeting. The Elk Grove Jaycees will be having a fundraiser at Coach's Corner restaurant on Monday, August 11. Coach's Corner is on Biesterfield Rd. in the shopping plaza behind Boston Market. The fundraiser is from 4-8 pm. Anyone who presents their server with the flier for our fundraiser will have 15% of the total amount of their food and drink bill donated to our chapter. It's a great way to help raise some money for our chapter and socialize while having dinner with our Jaycees. Invite your family and friends to join us. The more people that are there, the more money we raise and the more fun we will have. We hope to see you there!

On Saturday, July 26 at 2 pm, we will be playing "Bags" (also known as cornhole) at John P.'s house. If you don't know how to play, we will teach you. It will be a lot of fun and a great way to enjoy a summer afternoon with the Jaycees. Rain date will be Sunday, July 27 at 2 pm.

Our region socials have been very well attended this year as
people find it is great opportunity to meet new people and see old
friends. It is also great to bring your prospective members with you as
they can see the size of our organization. Fox and Hound Arlington Heights is offering us free appetizer happy
hour and free pool. Look for us in the side room.

The Elk Grove Village Jaycees will be celebrating their 50 anniversary with a banquet on Saturday, July 5 at the Holiday Inn - Elk Grove, 1000 Busse Rd. in Elk Grove Village. It will include a buffet dinner, a 4 hour open bar, and a night of dancing all for $60. It'll be a great way to celebrate our chapter's history. Be sure to mark your calenders for this special event.

The Elk Grove Village Jaycees will be meeting at Dairy Queen for some ice cream on June 15 at 7 pm. This event will also be an opportunity for people to find out more about the Jaycees and what we do, and to meet some of our members. We will be providing Dilly bars, and other ice cream treats will available for purchase from DQ. Come out, enjoy some ice cream, meet some new people, and learn what our great organization is all about.
