 r research and honor both of her grandmothers who lost courageous battles w
 ith cancer\, “re-patriot” Carolyn Human has been preparing to run the Disne
 y Half Marathon with Roswell Park’s Cure challenge team for months. In addi
 tion to vigorous weekly training sessions\, she also recently paired up wit
 h Buffalo’s newest upscale bar\, Omega Lounge\, DJ Rob Decker\, and CityLov
 e Clothing\, to design an event to help her raise money for the race in sup
 port of Roswell Park Cancer Institute.\n\n \n\nOn Thursday\, December 4th\,
  Buffalo’s newest upscale bar Omega Lounge will host “Help the Human Race H
 appy Hour” from 5PM-8PM. Located at 42 W. Chippewa St. in the heart of down
 town Buffalo\, the upscale venue\, aimed at the city’s young professionals\
 , will feature food\, drink specials\, and a three hour set by DJ Rob Decke
 r. Attendees can also buy CityLove clothing\, with a portion of the proceed
 s going to Roswell Park.\n\n“Since our start in 2007\, CityLove has been bl
 essed by the support of our "good neighbors" and as a result\, we look forw
 ard to giving back through local fundraisers and events.  Roswell Park is v
 ery important to WNY and even more important to the individuals and familie
 s it serves everyday.  We are very happy to be supporting their mission\,” 
 said Tony Maggiotto\, owner and creative director of CityLove Clothing.\n\n
 “It seemed like a no-brainer to get up and coming local businesses involved
  in helping raise money for a worthwhile cause. My hope is that we raise a 
 lot of money for cancer research and drive customers to the local businesse
 s\,” said Human.\n\nTickets for the event are $20 and can be purchased onli
 ne at www.carolynhuman.com or at CityLove Clothing located at 830 Elmwood A
 venue. The money raised for the marathon will help fund research and patien
 t care at one of the nation’s top comprehensive cancer treatment centers lo
