The purpose of this group is to bring together a network of actors, of all levels, skills, in which the exchange of valuable information would take place, in addition to building an community that is embodied with support and friendship for the actor(s) who are committed to pursuing their acting careers on a professional level.

Monument Toastmasters is a welcoming and inclusive group that develops and sharpens public speaking, presentation and leadership skills in a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere. We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month from 7 - 9 pm at Vicino Italian Restaurant in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. I am a Chinese working in IT in the Washington DC area. There are so few of us out there. Most of the time, I am surrounded by people of other ethnic groups on the job.
